Jonathon's B-Day and Australia Day

Jonathon was born on Australia Day, so this all was for Jonathon's bithday and Australia Day.

We got up earlyish and went to mass with some friends: Jasper, Christine, Meg, Rebecca and Fr. Benedict said mass. Afterwards, we all went to the Coffee Club and had breakfast/lunch and also Chris came for the lunch/breakfast.
When the people at Coffee Club found out that it was Jonathon's birthday they gave him one of those hats and a little cup cake.

At 5:oo pm we went to our friends, the Morrisons, house and swam in their pool, had dinner and played guns.

YESTERDAY

Hello! In the morning, yesterday, we went swimming in the RAAF pool, it was quite cool. Their was quite a few people there, but they had mainly toddlers, etc. so they just hung around the toddler pool.

After that, we went home and played Death Match Medal of Honour, which was very fun.

At around 4:00 Jonathon and Alexander went to the Youth Band practice. We then went to mass.

Afterwards, Jonathon and Alexander went to dinner at some friends of ours, the Griffons, while we had Nachos, Chinese, Indian, etc. We began watching a movie called Star Command, but it was pretty stupid, especially since these two guys were arguing, so rather than just leaving it, they got into a punch up!

After that, we just went to bed.
That was our Sunday!

NEW SCI-FI BOOK

Hey! Here is my new Sci-Fi book. Hope you like it!

CHAPTER ONE

Jason Star walked slowly down the corridor, after about ten metres he reached a small door. He reached out and hit a button. A keypad shot out underneath the button. Jason then punched in his security key.

With a hiss, the door slid open. Inside was a cockpit, outside the ship’s viewscreen loomed Pluto; several ships were docked on space stations orbiting the planet. Jason walked forward and sat down on the pilot’s seat and hit a button. “Star, we have got some jobs for you, you’ll most probably like them. For more information report to British S.C.C at 20.30 pm, Wednesday.”
Jason hit a button. “Dialing British S.C.C, reach in twenty seconds.” Said the computer.
Jason sighed and drew his A342 replica Desert Eagle and spun it around his finger.
“British S.C.C reached”
“Commander J. Jakar of British S.C.C here.”
“Commander, Jason Star. You wanted to talk to me about a job?”
“Ah, Star. We can’t talk right now, got a code one alert. Talk to you in five hours.”
“Roger that, Commander. Jason Star out.”
Jason hit the ‘Cancel Call’ button and then fired the engines. The ship-‘Night’s Shadow’-lurched forward. Jason turned it around and pointed it towards Earth.

Five hours later, Jason had landed at British S.C.C and was heading down a corridor towards the briefing room. Outside the door stood two soldiers wearing full suits of Plasteel armour and carrying M80 Assault Rifles, three HE grenades, Berreta 109 handguns and combat knives. One of them moved forward, Jason could see his mouth moving inside the helmet, seconds later the guard’s voice came crackling out of the external radio.
“Name please, sir.”
“Jason Star.”
“Authorization please.” Said the guard.
“Commander J. Jakar wanted me.”
The guard nodded and, turning to the door, punched in the clearance code for the door. Their was a hiss and it slid open, Jason walked in.

Inside the room it was fairly dark, a large computer screen stood about ten metres from his position, all around the room there were guards like the ones out the front and, about three metres from where he stood, Commander Jakar sat on a big, leather chair.
“Ah, Jason. I have been waiting for you.” Said Jakar.
“You wanted to talk to me about some jobs?” said Jason as he sat down on a chair.
“Yes, we have two jobs. The first: As Britain and Australia don’t own any planets, our PMs have decided to make an alliance and take control over the least stable planet in the system.”
“Mars?”
“Correct, thanks to the Americans and the Chinese constantly warring over it and never dreaming that anyone would try to take it, it provides the perfect place to take over. We’ll introduce a planetary government which will be watched by Australian and British spies. Both our countries will split the profit from the mines 50-50.”
“So let me guess, you want me to help you in the battle?”
“If you want to.”
“You know me Jon; I don’t like to get involved in wars.”
“Then there is the second job: MI6 reports that there is an American spy in the Australian army and MI5 reports that there is a Russian spy in our own government! The Russians might tip off the Americans!”
“You want me to take care of the spies with nothing tying Britain to it?”
“You really are good, Jason. That is correct.”
“Fine, I accept. What’s the payment?”
“Fifty grand per spy you ‘take care’ of. Bonus of ten grand if you locate and eliminate any other spies in either government.”
“How am I going to find out about agents in the government?”
“Easy, Find the Russian secret service base and ‘persuade’ them to tell you, same with the Chinese.”
“Do you know how much security those place have got? Do you know how hard it is to even find them?” Shouted Jason, getting up from his chair.
“Well, we do know one American base which they don’t know we know about. It’s an underwater base, we ‘discovered’ it the last time we ‘meddled’ with them.”
“An underwater base? No-one uses them!”
“Contrary to popular belief, Britain alone has ten in various oceans and seas around the Earth. They are well armed and equipped.”
Jason laughed, “And how many do the other countries have?”
“As I said, those bases are only British ones, there are many more.”
“All right, where is it?”
“In the middle of the Pacific Ocean, we’ll upload the position to your ship’s computer. Is their anything you require for your ship? Yourself?”
“I think Night’s Shadow is fine, and I’ve got more guns then you know.”
“But we’ve searched your ship, the only gun you have is your Desert Eagle, and your ship is unarmed!”
“My ship’s got two space-to-planet nuclear missiles, four space-to-air missiles and two Reaper Autocannons with ten thousand rounds each. I’ve got a hidden cache of weapons, enough to outfit at least twenty S.A.S teams. I think I’ll be fine.”
“All right, be that way. Here’s a disc with the location.”
“Thanks Jon. I’ll be off!”
“Don’t die.”

Jason headed out of the briefing room and headed to hangar bay three. On reaching the Night’s Shadow, Jason punched in his clearance code. The guard handed him his handgun and opened the hangar. Suddenly, Commander Jakar’s voice came booming out of the base radio.
“All units, arrest Jason Star. I repeat, All units arrest Jason Star. I want him alive.”

Jason snarled and drew his handgun as several guards raised their K47 assault rifles.
Jason aimed the gun and fired three rounds into a guard’s neck, the high explosive, armour piercing, high powered bullets easily punctured the guard’s Plasteel armour, the man cried out as blood dripped from his neck. There were four gunshots as a guard shot Jason in the leg. Jason snarled and fired a bullet into the soldier’s eye. He cried out in pain and slumped to the floor, suddenly a guard smashed him on the head with the butt of his K47.

CHAPTER TWO

Jason groaned as he gained consciousness. A rough hand grabbed his chin and thrust his head up into a large light directed on his face.
“Who are you?” came Commander Jakar’s voice from the darkness.
“Clone number 452-AGRE-78+.” Replied the imposter.
“Where is Jason?”
“American Space Marine holding pen number 3660335495811426-AGYEW-+.”
“Where’s that?”
“I cannot give you that information. How did you know?”
“My name’s not Jon, it’s Jack. Guard, terminate this…thing.”
“Yes sir.””No! Wait! I’ll tell you were it is!”
“Cancel that order.”
“Yes sir.”
“Where is it?”
“I’m not sure, but I know a place were you can find out.”

********************************************

Jason woke up with a start. He felt numb all over. Probably the effects of Tranq’ Darts and cloning.
“Well, let’s have a look around.”
He was sitting on a small bed, about five metres in front of him was a gate, to his right was a small, wooden chair. A small door lead to a toilet and sink. On the floor next to the gate was a tray with two slices of bread, a biscuit and a pitcher, most likely filled with water, and a cup.
“Well, I’ve been imprisoned enough times to know that the bread’s stale, the biscuit is at least three months past the use by date and the water is some water they picked up from a drain. Time to bust out I’d say.”
Someone laughed outside and a Space Marine moved in front of the gate, laughing at Jason.
“No one’s ever broken out of here, no one!”
“Really?” said Jason as he moved up to the gate.
“Yeah, slime ball.”
“Well, time some one broke out.”
Suddenly Jason grabbed the man’s shirt and shoved his nose with his other hand. The guard died instantly. Jason grabbed the keys and unlocked the gate. Reaching down he took the man’s handgun, a Berreta T59 high powered automatic, and turned left. The whole thing suddenly shook, an alarm started to blare and red lights began to flash.
A man ran down the corridor and stopped when he saw Jason. Jason turned and fired two shots into the man’s brain, the man cried out and crumpled to the floor. Gun shots echoed down the corridor, as did screams, explosions and curses.

Ryan Jakhol fired several shots into the US soldier, he went down in a shower of blood. Suddenly a man of about 36-39, wearing a prison uniform and carrying a handgun strolled calmly into the room. He raised the handgun and fired three rounds into the last remaining soldier and then saluted Ryan and his fellow S.A.S operatives.
“Jason Star?” asked Ryan.
“Yeah, I’m Jason Star.”
“We need to get out of here now, were only a team. Low on ammo and med-kits. Now c’mon.”
“ Sir! Eagle just reported in. Hawk and Fox are down and he’s heavily wounded. He can’t hold the ship!” yelled one of the S.A.S.
“Darn it! We’re going to have to fight our way to the hangar and take a ship. How many people can your ship hold Jason?”
