Canberra
On Tuesday we went to Thomas's doctor apointment in Parramatta, after that we went to Canberra.
The drive to Canberra was about three hours long, we passed all these hills coverd with trees.
At one point, when we were stuck because they were working on the road, I thought up a short story which goes something like this: The hero was guiding these people when they were ambushed by a whole tribe of Orcish mercenaries; the hero and other people ran away. After about three hours the hero starts to get tired so turns to fight. After killing twenty Orcs the hero is badly wounded so the rest of the story is about the hero thinking about his life.....
Canberra was great! We went to the National Museum, we looked at the Captain Cook display and then at K-Space, then we went to the Motel and started watching a movie . We had dinner with my older brother Greg. He was in Canberra for work.
The next day we wrote in our journals and then we went to the War Memorial, it was a really cold day but we had a great tour. They had a real Spitfire, Kittyhawk, Seahawk, ME 109 Fokker wolf, a Mitsubishi Zero and a Mosquito.
After our tour and a spending spree at the Museum Shop, we went to the Belconnen shopping centre and had lunch.
We went to the Questacon Science Centre and had a look at the exhibitions.
That night we met Greg for dinner again.
On Thursday we went to McDonalds and had breakfast, afterwards we went to a bookstore and to the town of Gunning, and then drove back to Sydney.
